Colon Cancer Support Group

Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.

Yup, I've made it to the big 64 today. Since I'm getting shots to build my white blood cells, and they are up, yea!!! I will relax my germ/bacteria rules and my hubby and I will go out to dinner tonite to celebrate. I started chemo in March with low wbc and have had low wbc most of the time on chemo (until now) so I have been following the cancer society rules about what to do and not do when you are low, very strict rules. So this will be my first time out to a restaurant. I spend 95% of my time in my house (except going to chemo, Dr or walks with my hubby) so this is a real treat for me. Thanks to you all for being on this site, it sure helps a lot. I pray everyday that our healing will be soon and a pain free as possible. Take care & hugs to you all. g
