Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
I am me!
I wish it would go away so i can get back to being me again
I am grateful for all the support i have had
I feel tired and worried
I wish i could cope better
I feel fortunate to be alive
On the outside i look normal
On the outside i always have a smile on my face
On the inside i feel confused
On the inside i feel afraid
On the inside i sometimes feel emotional and sometimes overwhelmed
I used to worry about trivial things
Now i dont sweat the small stuff
I feel weak when i am afraid of uncertainty
I am strong when i am with my children
When you look at me you see a well person
what you dont see is someone with serious health issues
What you dont see is what i choose to hide from you
I hope when i get through this i will be a more fulfilled person
I will stay well and live my life to the full
I will carry on whatever happens
I will move on and on
I can always rely on myself
I can do this
I am me!
