Colon Cancer Support Group
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
So, let's see I need to; drink coffee, eat soy beans, season with tumeric, and take an aspirin, drink green tea-- am I missing anything.
: )
I am sipping my coffee rihgt now - that I can believe in 100% - life is good!!
I've got this nagging theory that I can't quite piece together. The common theme in all of this research seems to point to be about keeping the inflammation in your body down. Some of the food recommendations don't jive with that unless you look at the Chinese medicine theories which are more individualized toward hot and cold.
Since our chemo is a major anti inflamm many of us got a reprieve from aches and pains, mine for instance, my feet didn t hurt from my bone spurs..now off of chemo, I can barely walk in the am.
So, an anti inflammation diet and concsiousness seems to be sensible. Keeping in mind the estrogen factor for women and the individual aspects.
The other thing is viral? For example I had this little wart on my heal, or I think it is wart. I watched it disappear during chemo... than gone. Now that the chemo is clearing my body, you guessed it... back.
So, Am I recreating the environment for a wart, and inflammation in my feet, does that equal the environment for the cancer to also return to it's thriving place?
BTW Mark... what is the face book page you watch?
