Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
One of my closest friends just had a massive heart attack. It took her 3 paddles to come back. I spoke with her yesterday. She has 2 stints due to blockages.
She told me yes, indeed, she saw the light and saw her parents who had passed away. They she heard someone call her name and she was back.
I have heard and read these stories before but this is the first person who I know to actually go through it.
I am so joyous she is still with us on this side but even more joyous she confirmed for me about the other side. I feel so safe with whatever is my destiny.

Hey Irish, I was wondering because one would expect someone like me, who is VERY religious, to see something positive. Just curious, to be honest. :-)
The Aunt saw her Sister who died years before in a dream. She described it so vividly over a family dinner during the week. The following weekend, the Aunt passed away. It brought the family great comfort to know she was with her Sister.
I am a Christian Scientist from childhood and Muslim from adulthood, I also read Tarot cards I learned through New Age in my young adult life! I keep the Science and Health and Qu'ran by my bed and I particularly love Psalms and Proverbs from the Bible. (so I am an American, God bless America that I can choose more than one religious institution!)and I believe the same that God is waiting for us there and God is guiding us here.
Shortly after I was in emergency for severe anemia (that led to my dx) I had a dream of my stepdad who has recently passed from lung cancer. It was a very real dream where he was making jokes with me - jokes only he and I would understand that were related to a trip to Gettysburg we took years before with my children and my mom. I asked him if I was going to die and he told me through his eyes that I didn't understand these matters. He understood b/c he was on the other side. But he reassured me it isn't my time yet.

I know scientist claim they can explain the 'floating above ones self' but I think that's bull. I've 'floated above' myself as a tiny child, very ill, and I saw the doctor from behind and above...
The reason I mentioned religion is that some people think 'religious people' expect to see a light so they see what they WANT to see. When a non religious person sees a light... that adds credence, don't you think?
I have not had a NDE, however I have had two experiences communicating with a friend that has passed and my father. I wouldn't share this accept to say it made a believer out of me.
It was not like a movie, more like an energy transferring information and I interpreted it, if that makes sense. The first is my girlfriend, she died of breast cancer leaving a 3 year old and a 17 year old behind.
In this dream like state, I was walking on a road and a pickup truck pulled up next to me and it was my friend, she stopped and started yelling at me. She grabbed me by the scruff and pulled me through the window and said, " I thought you were going to watch out for my daughter, what kind of a friend are you! " Then she screeched on down the road.
I woke up and rummaged through my papers until I found her daughter's number and called her. I said, " Robin, I was just wondering how you're doing?"
She was crying and said, " I just had my Wisdom teeth out and I m all alone up here at my Granddad's house."
I ran to Jamba Juice and the video store and brought some frozen peas and spent the day with her. I hadn 't kept up with her, and had no idea she was alone.
Coincidence... I doubt it : )
