Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.

I was thinking my usual thoughts at this time of year wondering what resolutions to make and then I remembered that every day is New Year's Day. My resolution...to make it through the day being the best that I can be today.

Kate that is awesome! That is my mantra as well. But my New Year's resolution is to do everything I can to be cancer free in 2011! Have a good new year, my friend!

Every day is special Kate. A friend in another group mentioned New Year was a time to reflect, and a time to set new goals. I've found this time of year I've got a few outstanding things I'd like to achieve in 2011, so I might start a 2011 Goal List.
