Wow. That's an eye-opener. Which of us didn't have morphine post-surgery? But, it's only one study, right?

everything helps cancer spread lol or doesnt everything leads to cancer one way or another but im sorry if it helps the pain im taking it

Irish, I was going to write the same thing - great minds think alike -)! We already know ice cream is bad. There is also a recent study that says wine causes cancer to spread. When I first got cancer, I was a vegetarian who never smoked, drank very little alcohol, exercised a lot, and had never had morphine. But I did eat a lot of dark (not sweet) chocoloate - I'm waiting for the "chocolate causes cancer" study, lol.

Mark - thank you for posting this article, it may be true. I know there many people out there trying to find a cure for this terrible disease and I applaud them. I have exercised all my life, and eaten good healthy food. The 3 years or so before I got C. I started eating mostly all organic food, very little sugar and bad fats, all of my make-up, shampoo, body lotion, toothpaste, everything that touched my body or went into my body was organic or natural. I haven't drank liquor or smoked for many many years and there is no colon cancer in my family. Everyone said I was the last person they would think that would get cancer. So what the heck are we supposed to do. Well...ONWARD WE GO !!!!

I'm not saying what anybody should or shouldn't do just trying to help keep us all informed, and unless there is another non-opiate based pain killer that works as well as morphine then I'll go with the morphine

I am not one to use drugs unnecessarily but when I had my colon sugery (they took my ovaries too) I was in so much pain I don't know how I would have made it without the morphine. Before i had the first bout of cancer i ate healthy did not smoke, drink and exercised regularly. * years cancer free from breast cancer.... So.....why am i here again?
