Colon Cancer Support Group
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
Just a several days ago I had cataract surgery, and my second trip back to see how I was doing, when I left they said "grace here is your copy" Right on my copy was Hysterectomy, colon/rectal cancer and a number of other things I may have had throughout the years chronic bronchitis.
What really gets me is I signed HIPPA papers my adult children was not to be given any information on any condition I might have.
Well guess what! My daughter took me and it was raining and she ran in to get the eye drops and that paper that had everything on it.
They made no qualms about giving it to her with other paper in their office with directives that my family is to be told nothing.
They try to fix it and make a mess? My rectal cancer had nothing to do with eye surgery or a 30 year old hysterectomy.
It is a slap in the face but one we must get used to I suppose! Yes upsetting
