Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
I have had a life insurance policy for over 10 years I took out at one of my jobs. I recently looked into changing it over to whole life. When I went to the new agent and told her my cancer history, she said it was very good that I had the insurance before I had cancer because I'd never get insured now (too big a risk)
Yet I just got a great 2 1/2 year post cancer report. The doctor is optimistic. Ha! Get them both in the same room together and let them duke it out!

I DO think it is a disgrace how Life Insurance Companies advertize, and they should be made to stop it.
I have family members always telling me of another life insurance company, that don't care about your previous illness.
Where you hear one lady say, "With my health history I never thought I could get life insurance, but I did"
It is not fair IMO. No one wants cancer and then to be denied Insurance? It is usually put as Un-insurable.
I think this should fall under the 'you can't be denied even with a pre-excisting condiction'.
