Hair extensions for hair loss?

Hello,
My head of hair has thinned out a lot. Have a 2" wide baldness along the natural parting on top of my head and have wig phobia and was wondering if anyone has tried hair extensions? I'm going to try a head scarf once I learn how to wear and tie them. Just wanted to see if there were any success with hair extensions ( clip ons). Thanks

hi hun, ive had both glue in hair extensions and clip in ones, to be honest on my wedding day( profile pic) i'm wearing clip in ones, would highly reccomend them, not the glue in ones as they make your hair even thinner. Have you thought about making an appointment wth a hair stylist that specialises in hair extensions, and they will check if your hair is strong enough to take them and can cover up the joins. my hair stylist measured my head for the clip in ones and positioned them for me for my wedding.

You look beautiful! I have searched online for hair clip extensions and came across hair integration. With my hair being fine to begin with, I will look into that as well. How long we're you able to wear it? Was it something you take off and put on yourself? I found a free consultation at a place that specializes in that, but it sounds like clips or integration is going to be pricey thanks for your input:)

hi hun, i just put them in when i feel like it and take them out before bed, in the Uk, real hair is easy to come by, we have shops that sell real hair on a long thread, and buy the clips seperately, you can do it yourself but i found it better to get my hairstylist to measure and sew on the clips, she did one piece that went at the nape of my neck about 3-4cm wide, then one that went behind my ears, from ear to ear and then one just by my crown, so basically you have one wide one and too smaller ones, and cos they are put in at diff heights it looks like your hair is layered. Just back comb your hair where the clip is going then it sticks in better once in my hair dresser tongs to make loose curls.
