Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.

This sounds to me as if you are being prescribed xeloda is this correct?? If so I had the xeloda regime and I am now 5 years out and very pleased with the results. I have worked full time during this and continue today to enjoy a full life.
Main concern for people on this treatment is foot and hand syndrome in which the feet and hands bliseter as if badly sunburned. If this happens let your health team know and they will take neccessary action.

I used ginger for the nausea which seemed to help me, as fot the tiredness think that is part of the recovery with the operation think it takes our bodies a time to adjust to the major trauma it goes through and rest is what it needs. This too for me passed.
