Works for me as coffee is about the only drink I can taste anymore. Stopped at McDonald's last night and got one of their cappucino's (not too bad actually). Usually order coffee now whenever we go to a restaurant for a meal.

Better to drink something with garlic and olive oil in it-!

Dr. Schulze's gallbladder flush is also a great colon cancer fighter:

2 whole lemons
2 whole limes

squeezed into blender
remove seeds

2 inches of raw ginger root
3-5 cloves of garlic

blend

fill blender with orange or another juice and ice if desired

Blend and drink! Sip on that for a half-hour, if your stomach and colon can fathom the spice. Bottoms up!

I have been an avid coffee drinker for years. Lately, I have become addicted to Starbucks Fraps as they are the one thing that tastes good to me anymore.

I forgot--you're supposed to add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the mix. Lubricates the colon--good for digesting food.

Oh, yay, coffee is my one addiction. I just couldn't/wouldn't give it up!! Of course it didn't keep me from getting cancer but my docs the problem is my "cancer gene" (MSH2 mutation). Saw my dermatologist (for skin cancer) today and told him that I was part of the MD Anderson study on Lymch Sydrome. He is very excited - thinks that's where the answers are going to be.

Sorry for the typos in my last post. My dermatologist (who I think is a genius) thinks the answer is genetics - either what we inherit or environmental damage to our DNA . Studies about coffee, morphine, etc. look at large population groups. He believes ( and I do too) the answer lies in individual differences in our DNA. Isn't that cool?

I am with you NAT, I do believe our individual genetic makeup is the answer.
Anyway i love coffee.
