Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
I have just had a gastro and colonoscopy and awaiting results due to rectal bleeding .Has anyone else gone through this due to bleeding and what were your results ,I know it's a waiting game but would be very grateful for your comments .
Know is hard at the start the waiting game and the worry setting in but please before thinking the worst you need to wait till the doctor has a look.
