Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
Giday all, just wanted to touch base and say I have just passed 7 years since the original operation. I have been fortunate in that I have not had any re-occurrence since and never any signs of it haveing moved to other parts of the body.
I would also like to thank many who have supported me in my journey and the people on DS have always been there for me for which I still remain very grateful.
