About three weeks ago I began to develop shortness of breath which has grown to include almost total breathing difficulty. Climbing a staircase is an ordeal and sleep is somethng I remember distantly. Stomach is churning all of the tiem and my appetite has gone to hell plus I no longer know what the hell to eat anywaya. Gas in the upper chest felt like a heart attack until I learned about gas itself can do this AND POSSIBLY COLON CANCER TOO.

Actually, I'm sure most of us will say your symtoms don't sound like colon cancer. Have you been checked for gall bladder problems?

Colon cancer generally has no symptoms or blood in stool, bowel movements that are as tiny as a pencil or complete blockage.

I never had shortness of breath or problems sleeping.... loud bowel sounds and food not going down because of obstruction.

I was Stage III colon cancer and had surgery and chemo. I'm not a wreck. :-D 15 months out and CANCER FREE.

Reisen you need to go to the doctor. We can not diagnose you. And you are not going to be a wreck if you take care of yourself. Even cancer diagnosis does not mean you are going to be a wreck.

Ditto what Russian said, only a Dr can diagnose you and the sooner you get that diagnoses no matter what the problem is the sooner you can do something about it.

Secondly a lot of people go through their journey with cancer and come out the other side no only not being a wreck but in most cased better people. So I am sure even if you do have cancer you will not be a wreck.
