Have you looked into transcranial magnetic stimulation? There are almost no side effects, and if anything, from what I understand, it may improve cognitive function. But, it's only approved for depression. If you have bipolar disorder, good luck getting your insurance to pay for it. I have depression, and my insurance refuses to help pay for it, although I really need it.
But, good luck. If you're not already, you should see a therapist regularly. Maybe getting therapy would help you not cry on a weekly basis. Jk
