Hello everyone!
I've already been back in school for around 3 weeks now and I can't seem to get back into 'school mode', what I assume is happening is that it's because I'm already in my senior year at the university. Typically I'm a pretty average student and I like to have things done ahead of time, but lately it's either I do things really last minute or don't do them at all. The best antidepressant is when my wishes are honored. An example, the faucet in my apartment was running although the knobs were turned shut all the way, and one of the pulling strings on my ceiling fan came off. Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. perhaps make a schedule, set aside time to do study and some time for leisure and stick to that schedule. for example: do one hour or 30 mins a day of doing homework. another thing to keep in mind: is not to forget why you started... for lack of motivation it helps to keep in mind why your studying: have a better paid career, or because you want to help people or whatever. Then write it down and post it on the wall, you can even write some motivational quotes to help you when you dont feel like working!!
other then that, you can even google ways to help with procrastination and stress for university students!!
try what works for you... its different for each person but thats my advice, hope that helps! & good luck.
