Just throughts:
if your sister is disabled. she can obtain Social sercuity disability insurance. W that benifit she will get bk pay from the date that she had applied for SSD & have mthly income. with that & rent recite she can obtain food assistance. With SSD she can get medicaid medical insurance.
With medicaid, she might be abe to have n/a that comes in 1 to # of dys per wk to assist her. which can be stress bracker on you.
Uncertain if medicaid in your state - community will cover in home care service. within in home care service, they have people available who will do her grocery shopping & run arrons for her, plus take her to & from Dr appts. In home care service have people that do house cleaning.
And when needed, I think that some care facilitys accept medicaid.
Don't let people use you & stress you.
Does she pay you at least $22.00hr to be her 1 on 1 care taker ?
If you care for her within your home, I think that the state will pay you a % to take care of her. Plus I think that going rate on simi -private rm in CRCF is over $6.000 mo.( that's rate of 15 yrs ago )does she pay for private rm within your home or where every she resides ?
If you or who ever is her care taker, the state will pay the care taker a % for care of her.
If needed sale your house after you give her a 30ty notice. 30ty days she will have time to relocate into a facility/center &/or obtain state assistance houseing.
Every state/community has a state funded mental health center ( ea state the name seems to be diffrent ). the center offers to& from center, transportation service. They also offer slideing scale fee & it seems like they accept medicaid.
Best wishies.
I hadn't realised it but that is exactly what I had been doing... putting my emotional well-being into the hands of people who would just stomp all over me, and I just kept doing it, over and over and over again! It's like we keep giving them the opportunity to stomp all over us and the only way to stop them from doing that is to stop giving them those opportunities! And keep in mind the definition of insanity... doing the same thing and expecting a different result... it aint ever going to happen.
Take your emotional well-being into your own hands, step back from them and protect yourself from them, and do what is good for your emotional well-being, spend time with kind and caring people, or people who make you laugh, or watch a movie that you love, buy yourself some flowers!! Do stuff that makes you feel good. Keep bringing the focus back to you and what makes you feel good. And remember this: you are good enough just as you are :)
Remember:
DONT LET ANYONE MAKE YOU FEEL WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO FEEL. YOU HAVE THE CONTROL .
