Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
As a point of clarification, it is your husband who is codependent with his son. If the son is not doing everything he can, meds and therapy and health, about his disease, then your husband is an enabler. It certainly should not interefere this much with your marriage.
A very rich trader once told me that most people lose in the market because human nature cannot accept this one thing: CUT YOUR LOSSES. People cannot accept what they have lost and keep trying to redeem it by throwing good money after bad.
You may be addicted to the relationship and unable now to break free. If you have a higher power, pray for the willingess to break free. If you can go, it doesn't sound like there is enough to stay for.
Hugs.
