Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
Here is mine:
--I love that I have a hunger for knowledge, and I have been feeding voraciously on excellent books lately like Codependent No More and Honoring the Self.
--I love that I have learned the value of mediation and yoga. I love the mind-body-spirit wholeness involved. And it has taught me the peace of detachment.
--I also like that my body feels healthier with all that stretching. I feel pretty good for 42!
--I love my home. It feels like me, or at least the me I am striving to be. Uncluttered. Peaceful.
--I love that I still haven't lost hope, even though I have had to let go of a hopeless situation.
--I am finally beginning to live life authentically and with healthy boundaries, and that is why I am able to love myself more today than I ever have.
