Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
I did not understand that ESH as in what does the ESH stand for? and so I finally found it online as an acronym ONLY in AA to mean = experience, strength and hope.
Some times it is better to write things out instead of assuming that people know what things stand for - in order to communicate effectively. IMO.
It is hard anywhere online to get people to participate (hard in real life too) so we are very fortunate here on DS because this site here is always active for some reason(s).
My own finding from studying codependency is that putting stuff in writing is a very personal thing to do, and as such writing makes the writer more exposed and vulnerable, and so many people simply can not do that because they do not have the boundaries and the self esteem to express their own feelings in writing.
For those of us who can do that then we have a power position over those who can not, and it is a huge sign of mental and emotional health.
Those who can not express their feelings or who will not - are not being healthy.
When we expose our true self and let our self be vulnerable then that makes life so much more of a fun and daring adventure.
My finding is that to be in control or even to take control can be either healthy or unhealthy depending if we are nice considerate and loving in control, or if it is a cruel or deceitful kind of control.
I like your title = Progress but never graduation.
