I don't know if I am co-dependent I have always seen myself as independent but I am trying so desperately to get away from my mother's co-dependency on me !!!
I also lost my best friend (dog) Bella it was 3 years ago but it still breaks my heart and still find myself devastated by it,
just wanted to reach out … your not alone

runnindog, I totally get feeling lonely and wanting a fulfilling relationship with antoher person. Yeah, being happy and confident on your own is important, but man, it does get lonely. I hope you find the help you need to deal with the addiction and the love you're looking for. I'm sorry to hear about your dog. She sounds like she meant a lot to you and must have been a great dog.
