Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

I am mad at myself for allowing the relationship to continue without dealing with the betrayal, perceived or real. I am mad that I embarrassed myself in public by losing my temper (there was never violence of any kind). I am mad at myself for not getting help sooner.
I guess what I am trying to say is that you sacrificed your needs to save the relationship, but you are at the end of your rope. If you are anything like me, you were able to trick yourself in the past and keep the resentment in check. The cat is out of the bag and there is no going back, most likely. You (and I, if I get a chance) have to choose to deal with betrayal like regular people by building trust over time or breaking up and then get help with managing codependency in the future. Just my non-professional $0.02. :) Here is to all of us slaying this demon and finally being happy with who we are.
