Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

Please understand this is your relationship. Not your moms, dads aunts, uncles, etc. Let's put the focus on you for the moment. Do you feel that your personal burdens and problems are preventing you from being a healthy partner? If so, you need to heal. It is possible to do so while remaining in the relationship, but relationships tend to focus us on our significant others instead of ourselves. By no means am I telling you what to do, but trying to give love from a wounded mindset is unrealistic. It just doesn't happen. We can give the appearance of love it's usually hollow.
None of us on this board like to break up with anyone, it's a hot button which triggers fear anxiety, grief, pain, etc. I'm not even suggesting that you do it. I do recommend making some "you time". Time in which you do nothing except focusing on personal growth and healing. If all your time is wrapped up with your boyfriend then a little detaching may be in order. If so, please remember, it's not a bad thing.
Above all else, open honest communication is key. Often our pains are wrapped up in the dark secret places we don't want to talk about because we are afraid. Pamjit, walk in love, not fear.
