Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

Take some to take stock in your relationship with him. What are your needs? What are your values? What kind of future do you want in your relationship?
Then ask yourself if this person is meeting your needs, values, and vision for the future. If the anwers that come back are no.. then maybe you should consider whether or not this relationship is really serving you well.
If its not serving you, maybe its time to consider a heart-to-heart talk with your boyfriend and maybe even counseling.
Anyway, just my two cents. Take what you like and leave the rest.
Definitely can see some self esteem issues...
I lived my precious 3 years thinking those beautiful moments would come back ... He is my knight in shining armor on a horse. DENIAL - Today he is bad, but remember those good old days they will come back...
Sorry to break reality they never came back... I took up responsibility for self and ended the relationship... I am glad or what for doing that.
Know that Abuse is abuse the more you take the more you get... Its time for you to reconsider your relationship with self and your partner. He doesn't respect you yet, you want to be with him just because you think you wont find anybody? Put in your journal all your fear and try and work one at a time.
When you are too vested in relationship with others than yourself than its time to work on self.
Sending you hugs ((((((Sunsets)))))). I also wish you luck on your job interview. I agree with the others - this is not "it" for you. I hope you get the job that you would like, and I also hope you can do some soul searching about yourself. Think about your interests, passions, curiosities.
What has worked well for me is getting out there, involved with things that I like and love. It is not easy, sometimes. It means stepping outside of your comfort zone and putting yourself out there. I understand about anxiety and depression, too. But you can do this for yourself. You are a young, beautiful woman with a whole world in front of you.
When my sister was around your age, she moved forward getting married to someone who was, in a word, toxic. It was awful for her, and three years later, she was divorced. And all we keep saying is "Thankfully you did not stay with him." She has a much happier life with someone more suited to her. You will find someone good for you, too. Believe that you can.
I will keep you in thoughts and prayers.
