Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
I have never heard a story like that before, and I find it stunning.
Stunning - as in neither negative nor positive but just so unusual.
Have you told your Therapist about that man from online?
Do you tell the Therapist about you sending him money?
I say you really need to discuss this with a professional Therapist face-to-face in person and with the Therapist who already knows you.
Welcome here to this group.
So now you seem much more rational then I first suspected.
As such it seems to me that your point and purpose is to make your husband jealous and try to get your husband to show that he cares for you, and that online friend is just a safe kind of weapon to use against your husband.
I do not mean that in a negative way because that kind of dynamic is notorious as happening in very many relationships where the woman wants more from her man so she uses many kinds of methods to try on her man.
My own wife tried to get me to show some love to her and I am forever grateful to her for trying, and it took our breakup before I saw the truth and then it was too late.
There is even a song about this human phenomenon =

You have 20 years invested in your husband.
Just saying.
Sounds like you might be enabling two men, at your expense.
