Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
Of course, this is a way to understand how hard it is to be with family before we have actually made some real progress in our healing journey. There simply is no way to beat them all putting us in our PROPER place in the family until a great deal of healing has occurred.
All we can really do is to stay away for the period that it takes us to get to a place of healing where we stop caring if they
>>like us
>>approve of us
>>disapprove of us
>>remain seated when ordered to do anything
>>stop believing others are better than us
>>stop believing we are better than others
These are just some basic traits of healthy non-codepedent behaviors. Once these are part of your psyche, what the family does really will not matter.
