Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

You know the steps, you have the tools and the courage to rise above the atmosphere in the home and live for yourself. He is allowing himself to feel that way. Don't let his mood influence yours in any way.
See what happens when you start to live for yourself, if he perks up you may need to state to him he should not take your change in attitude as anything more than you living your life for you.
When my wife started to work on herself and go out, i did that. I thought we were ok and could live together and I fell back into the unhealthy habits and that only made her frustrated and anxious (she was not detached yet from me)
wow, dual codependents suck!
My daughter tells me (she's way smarter than me!) to do whatever makes me happy ... if I want to go out to a mall - go! if I want to have a tea and read my book - do it!
When you know there is a problem do something about it said a wise CODA member to me.
How can you make it better for yourself is the question to ask?
And what would you want to do about is the question?
