Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
my advice for YOU is to tell them that, and to lovingly stay out of their business.
put some boundaries in place.
but i agree with hoops. this is just misery and drama and i hope that you don't get pulled into it because you love them both.
they both need counseling etc.
i have a wonderful dear friend who has become a raging drunk in the last year.
it's taken all i have to "cut her loose" but did so to protect myself and not enable her to continue with the same destructive behavior.
and she has a 9 month old baby.......
love them but know that until they decide to get better all you can do is love them......
this is difficult.
(((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
If it were me, I'd find new friends who provide mutual respect, honesty and benefit.
