Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
That is great! It does feel wonderful when we realize that we do not have to stay stuck. We can wade out of the muck and take care of ourselves. When I honestly do take care of myself, the anger and frustration does not manifest like it did before.
I don't feel the need to be angry about other people asking me for things, because I have put limits on what I will do. So, then it does not matter what they ask for. I can decide what I am okay with doing (or not). It is very liberating.

Learning to overcome the feeling that I should not hurt other people's feelings is a work in progress for me.
My friend has a saying "You cannot take care of your own needs and simultaneously take care of other people's feelings. People can take care of their own feelings. You must take care of your own needs." This saying has really helped me.
Kudos on your practice of setting healthy boundaries.
