I'm not sure where to begin, but I'm hoping this will lead me to some sort of practical application to ending my intense codepencies on men, romantic partners, and friends.

Personally I am old school CODA/Alanon meetings
and Finding a good therapist.

There are books, codependent no more by melodie
Beattie, darlene lancer has great books too.

On Youtube lisa a romano has tons free videos and there
Is also ross rosenberg also. They have some media and

My counselor actually touched on a root part of codependency for me; shame. We're not talking just guilt but SHAME about who you are as a person (for existing, being less than, etc.) I'm naturally a reader so she gave me "Healing the shame that binds you" by John Bradshaw. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone or even most people - but in codependent individuals I feel that shame is extremely predominant.
Melodie Beattie's books are also quite good I have found and would recommend her as well.
