Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
I don't have a whole lot of advice, I just noticed you hadn't gotten any replies. I just started reading Codependent No More - I took it out from the library on the weekend. I haven't gotten that far to know the answer to your question, but far enough to know that REACTING is one of our main problems - we react to everything and everyone. Maybe you can get this book and find out more?
Peace out,
"listen more...speak less" and "think before you speak" and all those little proverbs really are powerful if we practice them in our life. One of the most calming and most not-codependent things we can do is that. It gives us the time to really think about how we really want to respond to people's idoicy.
