I have been dating someone on and off for 3 years. She does not fit the image of a Crack addict. She has a very clean apartment, she actually has OCD and freaks out if the is a crumb on the table. She is very pretty and keeps herself well kept. The main problem is that she has been doing drugs since she was a teenager and has not been able to keep steady income for years. She is always losing a job and depending on unemployment or when that runs out she depends on Welfare.

Because of this habit she is very dependent on men. She has been dating me or one other male on and off for the 3 years and was on and off with him for 6 years prior. I don't know why i love her so much and continue to allow her to come into my life, however what bothers me more is that I know that if she didn't have on of us she would have nothing and could slip into a bad way. I wish I could help her get the help she needs but she has only tried to get help once.


I don't have any ideas because if I confront her she only gets angry.
