HELLO!!!!!! I am the original poster of the MASTURBATING VENTRILOQUIST joke.

Never thought it would create such perplexed responses. It is a little more intellectual a joke than "slip on a banana peel and fall on your ass". It takes a little thought and is open to varying interpretations.

The person who responded that it had something to do with a ventriloquist's dummy being WOOD was on the right track.

The ventriloqist basically is doing his own wood. Sort of a play on words.

A ventriloquist "throws his voice" to make the dummy appear to be talking. If the ventriloquist is masturbating, he's doing his own thing. Therefore, feeling pleasure when he masturbates, he LOVES THE SOUND OF HIS OWN VOICE, activating the wood dummy.
