Cleft is a congenital deformity caused by a failure in facial development during gestation. It can be treated with surgery shortly after birth with highly successful results. Cleft occurs in somewhere between one in 600 and one in 800 births. Cleft occurs in several severities and is divided in two major categories: cleft lip and cleft palate.

Is this even fixable anymore?

It's very noticeable and in real life, it's really red too and very bumpy. It looks really horrible and disturbing for me.

I don't thinkt that it's an horrendous cleft lip, I've seen way much worse on Tumblr and the internet.
However if you really think it can improve your life situation, why don't you apply for an appointment with a surgeon specialized in adult clefts ?
Mine is kinda redish as well, Idon't know, did you try some styles to make it less noticeable (or to divert people's attention away from the cleft ?)

Thanks for the compliment but I think it's really horrible. It may not look "that bad" on camera but in real life, it's way worse. My nose is really messed up looking and my lip is even more misshaped, my scars are ridiculously dark red (I don't know why it's lighter on camera but in real life it's really reddish), and just horrible to look at.

HA I was right, not nearly as bad as you believe. If you strongly feel you want further correction I believe it is possible. The hard part is finding a surgeon who is experienced enough (with Clefties). My scars still show, my nostrils are huge, and my nose is...ginormous. But I was able to find a surgeon who had experience with cleft work. The important thing I had to keep in mind was that I was not going to come out of surgery looking like a model. My face obviously was not meant to be that way and my surgeon was caring enough to explain that I would look like someone with a mis-matched face if that was what I wanted. Instead they helped to minimize certain aspects that bothered me.

It doesn't look that bad to me but we can only c the scar close up. It's hard to get a perspective w/out seeing a bit more. Please don't b afraid to post a pic showing a bit more of ur face. No one here is going to judge or say anything hurful and I doubt anyone here would think anything like that since we have all had our share of experience w this.
