Clarity Community Group
This group originally had been formed to lend support and to have open discussion on the topic of dissociation. We have since opened up to all aspects of PTSD, BPD, DID, BIP, Depression, etc. Basically our group is a safe supportive (non judgemental) place for open discussion on any somewhat related topic. We do not discriminate. We consider ourselves to be...
Hugs all around!
Why do I not feel so welcomed here anymore, am I picking up on vibes or is my anxiety just getting the best of me right now and I am assuming the world hates me and is plotting against me. I can't tell which it is.
But I agree, this is suppose to be a place of acceptance and support. If I have nothing nice to say I leave it alone. maybe I slipped?
You can post here or send me a tell, just be honest is all I am asking for. It's your choice who you choose to have as a member here. If you are not happy with someone being here, ask them to leave. Easy.
My God I am an emotional mess.
I think, when im able, i can be very supportive. Sometimes i guess i just need a pity party.
Love ya all
Cathy
I do not think it is ok to attack people or call them bad names, etc.
it's just negative and wrong, but what is wrong with saying what we think if it is our way of support, if we have to worry about always saying the wrong thing or coming off negative, every response on this forum will look exactly alike.
A little something like this,
I am sorry, feel better, I am with you, and a few other things that become so repetative that they don't have any meaning behind them anymore.
I just think people should look at all angles of something not just one. I am not trying to create trouble, but I think since we are all adults here what is wrong with addressing things.
Shrugs, this will probably be taken as me speaking out of line when it was not the intention.
I just feel being real with one another is what will make people closer and trust the people you ask support from. if my friends always just told me what I wanted to hear I would be in a bigger mess than I am now. Food for thought !
Sometimes, we care about people...and try our best to offer support and help and worry about that particular person. And when we feel like we are helpless and cannot help them and can't stand the idea of watching them just give up on themselves it becomes extremely scary for , we can panic in a sense and sometimes the only way we feel we can do anything to help that person is to in a sense "slap them out of it". We become angry out of fear. It might not be the best way to do things but it's always out of LOVE.
No one in this forum is bad why not just all love each other :(
all done now, promise.

Sini don't change a things about yourself. I like your strIghtforward yet very caring approach.
I don't think anyone was singled out here, just a general reminder.
and maybe my ott niceness is annoying
and maybe someone elses straight talking kind of love gets on someone elses nerves and
maybe someone else might be repetitive
but the point is we all do our best and thats all that matters
i know when i get depressed i am moany
and when i am stressed i am fiesty
and when i am happy i start writing mushy poetry and
and i know goingtobewell for example is a hard core striaght talker but thats ok too
we all mean well in our different ways
I know some of this is directed at me. Why not just tell me?
I agree with Sini. If I can't be myself I'm not going to be here.
I know I can be a bit tactless sometimes. Sometimes people need to hear it straight.
I have had things going on, my partners mother died. My girls were upset by that. My son has been having some problems.
I've been busy with life. Shit happens all the time. you can sit inside and hide or you can join in and solve your problems.
I will say good bye to you charming folk and get on with my life elsewhere.
