I used to drink. I was ordered xanax. I stopped. Went thru a horrible withdrawal because I stopped without consulting my doctor! It was bad, for months.
Later, I stopped drinking. Panic anxiety & depression began to decrease. Indigestion disappeared.
Then I found out I have liver disease. So glad I stopped drinking before that! I would never drink again.
Fatigue is one of those chronic, vague symptoms that go with many diseases and often no one can find a cause for it. Usually people have liver disease and years of fatigue long before they have H.E. HE is more of a late end stage thing.
The muscle loss is also a common withdrawal aspect. I lost muscle immediately after my cold turkey off Xanax. pressure just below my sternum, but that too is a common complaint from the stress and anxiety after discontinuation of benzos.
Have a great appetite, no fatigue, never tired. I did not sleep for almost two months after the Xanax, then I strted taking these muscle relaXERS which operate on the body very similar to benzos. So I agitated my nervous system quite a bit. So I am back to being an insomniac, with a little sleep, but the dreams make it so unenjoyable that I would rather just stay up.
Go figure. You play you pay!!
