What precipitated the fibrosis, do they know?
Fibrosis is scarring, the liver tissue becomes scar tissue, scar tissue is stiff & has no blood supply so it can't perform anything.
Cirrhosis develops from fibrosis. It is a worsened & later stage of fibrosis, the liver structure collapses, liver functions fail, and related functions fail. Can lead to pulmonary hypertension & liver failure. Cirrhosis will cause further scarring.
So far as thc I do not know anything. Your doctor is the best person to ask.
