She could try hot baths, yoga for gentle stretching to release trapped gas, prune juice, and pro-biotics.
I have read that food combining helps problems with constipation, gas pain, stomach pain, etc. Google that as well. It is eating differently but worth trying out for a week or two to see if it helps.
Maybe some different pain meds until she is able to manage her pain better.
