Easy to eat? Watermelon, and grapes. You can puree and strain the watermelon for a refreshing drink, too!
PAIN: I cried, prayed, and begged God ALOT. The good news is the pain does subside and it's a beautiful day when you realize it has.
EATING: I did not eat much at all for 2-3 weeks after my surgery. Maybe a Nutrigrain bar and a small bit of pasta. I just didn't want to eat and when I did it had to be little and bland because almost anything that passed my lips other than water made me miserable. The docs said when you are ready to eat you will. I did have to drink Boost for protein which, I was told, was essential for my new liver to "kick in" and was much to heavy for me to eat.
Side Note: 2 1/2 months later, my appetitie is back in full force!
