Hi everyone I'm new on here and just looking for some help...I am my dad's caregiver,he has liver cirrhosis from alcohol, kidney disease,diabetes,blood disease and if all that's not enough Pancreatic Cancer.MY biggest problem right now is his testicles are severely swollen I mean the size of a cantaloupe.every dr I've taken him to says there's nothing they can do,no pain meds,can't drain his...

No doctor is offering any palliative treatment? He does have a complicated medical profile, but I would think at least over the counter pain relievers & some topical soothing agents, or cool compresses. Do not follow my suggestions, but ask doctor if any of those things would be safe for him. I'm sorry you are going through this, sorry for your dad. Don't give up keep trying to get answers to help make him comfortable.

You might ask a hospice center or hospice nurses for suggestions. It sounds like he would be a candidate for hospice care, if not now, then later. It is very difficult to provide that level of care for a family member 24/7. Perhaps some in home care at least part time?

Hi sorry i was off for a bit my dad got so bad ended up bringing him home with me under in home hospice he was on it for a month and passed away I Christmas Eve

So sorry for your loss Lovinmydad88! My dad has a VERY swollen scrotum too and was told it's due to the severe refractory ascites :(

I was completely alone (other than hospice) carrying for my dad it was hardest thing I ever had to go through

Im trying to post about my stepdad.
He was diagnosed with cirr. A month ago.
Hes been spitting blood. Stomach pain. Memory problems (he doesnt notice but i do.) Hand tremors hand/leg cramps. Muscle/weight loss. Almost constant diarhea and sleeps alot. Hes waiting for his referral to a specialist .
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how bad it is according to his sympoms?
