I'm in a state of shock. Got my report yesterday. "No acute abnormality. No definite liver abnormality is seen." Well, a few weeks ago I was admitted for paracentesis, jaundice, acute anemia, and an MRI that showed a "shrunken liver."
I didn't have an appt., but the nurse said the dr saw the report and she had been looking at my chart trying to see what was going on. She said they would wait until after the biopsy, endo, n colonoscopy to say whether they would now allow me to have the hep c treatment. He said I wasn't well enough for it before.
My "copies" on hep c were 300,000. I'm gonna go research that now. And I"m gonna head to the gym to work out And I"m staying w my liver lovin diet. Found a great frozen pizza by Kashi that just made my weekend!
Anyone know what to make of this? I'm doing a little Thank You Jesus Dance.

The biopsy will tell the extent of any liver disease. Get a copy of it and ask questions! If there is anything abnormal (ie necrosis) please see a hepatologist.
I hope it's good news... but what does your blood work say (ie PTT, Bilirubin, etc)??
I'm waiting for my dr to send me copies of all labs. hep a and b, genotype etc. I'm probly repeating myself here. You know how it goes...... I am STILL holding out hope that he will approve me for hep c treatment. More tests to come. Thanks all.
