Our dog is very much a beloved family member - and I would be distraught at the development of ANY serious disease (....which this certainly is).

My dog strongly reacts to my wellness staus. When I was on interferon/ribavarin years ago and had to creep on my belly just to let her outside, she seemed to understand. She asked nothing of me. I fed her & put her out for potty, that was it. Good girl didn't pester for any attention.
Please don't do this to your pets. It is not cute or funny and can cause serious problems.
Being a member of this forum, there is no alcohol in my home, but I've seen friends do it with their dogs. Seems funny at first, but it's very serious.
