Not knowing what's going on, I just want to offer that an ultrasound is a very basic diagnostic tool. I would request an abdominal MRI from your GI or PCP, that will give you a much more definitive answer.
I supposedly had gallstones at one time, even to the point they wanted to remove my gallbladder, but all based on ultrasound images. Once they did the much more precise MRI, turned out to be nothing and I still have all my parts.
Ultrasound can be step #1 to possibly find problems, but they're just a start and often aren't accurate.

He thinks my liver is trying to recover and for now I am doing quite well. So I guess all in all it was a pretty good report.
