Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

...I start a thread and ask for help. I've worked very hard today, along with starting and tending a woodfire that's located in the cellar and moving enough snow to clear the entrance to my house.
For those who don't know much about me...I'm a hairdresser. A few months ago, I had to close the beautiful salon I had in one half of my house and turn it back into an apartment for the rental income. I'm in no shape to work enough to warrant keeping that space as a part time business. It was a heart breaking decision, but the only one that made sense.
So now I still do hair, but it's just for my best, loyal clients who understand what a feat it is for me to work at all. I bought some portable equipment that works perfectly in my kitchen. Still...every day is something to dread because my pain is so unmanaged.
I have no choice, though. I can't survive on just the income from an apartment though it has lightened my load considerably.
I won't list my ailments, but I am asking that some healing energy be sent my way. I still have my beautiful Grandaughter due to arrive for a special school dance 'do'. I'm way beyond my limit already, but I will not disappoint her.
Please...be thinking of me if only for a moment.
Hugs...

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

wish you'd slow down a bit though!!
prayers for strength and rest later. hugs!
You, tipper, manny123, Leall, etc were all here for those suffering from CP. I admired you all for the cohesive strength that was borne of years of associating on CP. I'm sorry that most of "that" crowd gone. So good to see you back here.
I've grown to really care for this group. They are also very supportive and "real".
And I realize it's rare for you to complain. You have always been solid. For all the help and info I received from you and others just like you, it's the least I can do to send healing thoughts and prayers.
I love you, my friend. Please lean on me.
Heather
Take care.
I hope you at sometime find that much needed rest. Hope too you enjoyed your time with your granddaughter :)
Comfy Hugs,
Toni
I'm starting another very labor intensive hair service shortly and my neck/shoulder are screaming for some time to heal.
