Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Sending you healing energy and prayers.
Rest...rest...rest!

I've never taken Percocet, but I think (from nursing experience) it is considered a step up from Vicodin. Of course, meds work differently on everyone, so what's *better* for one person, might not be for another.
Hope you feel better!
Love and hugs,
Lori
Percocet worked well for my incisional pain, so it should help you, especially if you're not used to strong pain meds. Just be careful- it can make you woozy. Don't drive!
Keep on top of the pain- if it spreads or gets intense, get yourself back to the ER. MRSA can be a nasty infection and sometimes it's hard to treat.
Best of luck and I'm glad they were able to help you!
Sandy
I'm so glad they were able to help you. I take the percocet for break thru pain and it does help sometimes as long as I don't wait too long to take it. I'm just glad you're feeling better. hopefully you can get some rest anyway.
I'm sending prayers and gentle hugs your way
Mary Ellen
vicodin is now my break through don't know if it'll stay that away now that cold and wet weather is here.
