sounds busy...I want to know why a company would interview for three hours? Most common job interviews are over in 20mins....and that is a normal amount of time....what type of job? why would they keep spending on interviewer doing this for 3hrs? It is funky if you ask me....

I just decided to get moving got dressed after lighting the bbq for some burgers for lunch....made 3 ate two...one in fridge...next stop is to go to the bank....I need to deposit a check that is refund rebate from place that I ordered something...got just under $9 back....and I collected my separated coins too...yesterday I took all the quarters and used them....to pay for McD;s and something from Walgreens on sale....today I am taking in $3 of dimes and nickles....oh wow I have a whopping $12 to my name right now....I need a student soon!

thanks for the coffee and food....I took some bacon for my burger...LOL and made a cappuccino from your espresso....LOL I like the foamy milk....

PS waiting for vets secretary to call me back about taking Tucker in to see what is up with his hind right paw...he has been limping around and had been licking it....I checked it with flashlight and saw soar in-between two toes..been treating it with antibiotic creams but he is soar and I hate seeing that...so I am hopeful the vet can see him either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning....she is to call me back....

well the vets assistant called and only time to get in is tomorrow 5pm...which is ok with me....

I also had a tad more than I thought in change for the bank...$4.10 so I now have $13 to my name...wooot wooot...LOL

Tomorrow after my afternoon doctors appointment with the ortho for my neck and lower back issues I come home grab Tucker and head over to Mom's to return the refrigerator dolly to her garage again and then she is really close to vets office too so we can stay there until almost 5pm and then head off to the vet....

hopefully Tuckers foot is already in process of healing and all vet does is confirm that it is healing and sends us on our way with the heart guard for both dogs for Dec. and maybe another tube of Tritop for Tuckers toes....

My daughter is interviewing with the corrections dept to be a security guard at a state prison. I think it is a group interview. If it was for a small company I would be worried too. It is not what I want for her, but it will help pay for the rest of college. She has decided she wants an engineering degree instead of going for a history degree. There are more job possibilities for an engineer than a history major. However, she needs three more years to finish that Bachelor's degree as her history courses are not going to be enough.

Got to love the thinking of this town that is five miles away... got a state prison? property values low next door to the state prison? Let's build a high school there!!! Yeah... when we moved into the area we had to pass up some really nice houses as I was not about to send my daughter to a high school next door to a prison.

Ok I once interviewed for working in the prison outside St. Louis in their education program for inmates who are school ages....I did not get hired but it was interesting but still one on one interview....hugs bill

PS I had broken my JA Henckles 3in Paring knife when it got scooped into sheets and went thru the washing machine....when I talked to their customer service to see about buying new one they told me to send it in as it has lifetime warranty on it and if defective they would replace it or send me coupon to get new one at cost if not defective...new knife just came in mail today with no cost at all....woot woot....it is part of a block set and I wanted to replace it by buying new one when I couldn't find this style in open stock anywhere because it is mostly block sets that have this style....glad I called to their offices from Internet searching....

Sweet on getting the replacement!! Hubby threw away two of my matching steak knives that had lifetime replacement warranty on them, sigh, He was really embarrased when I pointed out to him that I had paid extra for the warranty!

Yeah, a three hour interview is still weird. I sure would not have agreed to one back when I was still working!

Oddly enough today, it was not my back that kept me from moving. It was a skull shattering headache. I am not sure where it came from. Hubby thinks I am getting sick. Heck, everyone else in the house is sick, why aren't I? I tend to blame dehydration for headaches.

My daughter has a good point though, she noted that I have five or six random busies down my left side of my body. Yesterday, when hubby was at work and she was sleeping, I took a hot bath to dull the pain in my back. Getting into the tub I blacked out and woke up on the floor. Blacking out is why I won't drive. It happens all the time. It is why I don't usually try to take a bath or shower unless someone is around, but I did it anyone yesterday. My daughter thinks I might have hit my head - which would account for the splitting headache.

Gads I so don't need anything else wrong right now.

sorry your head is hurting...I took two alieve this evening around 3pm and then I got a headache...LOL now what can I take? I dunno but it is not a bad head ache just mild one....and it is mostly gone now....

sorry you fell in bathroom...this is dangerous too because you could hurt your already hurt spine....

I can pretend that blacking out and waking up on the floor next to a bathtub full of water is not terrifying, and those who are reading the post might even believe that it was not terrifying... and then Bill has to go and call my bluff!

Ok, yes, it was actually so terrifying that I completely blocked it out of my mind... which left me questioning this morning where all the bruises came from. None of my doctors care that I fall, or care to look into WHY I black out randomly. On the odd times I am hospitalized, they do make a nurse stand next to me anytime I am not lying down, so apparently they BELIEVE me that I am a fall hazard.

The doctor I had back when I first crushed my spine almost 10 years ago told me that a fall could refacture my spine to the point that I become paralyzed from the midback down. If that happens, I will be dead before anyone can call 911 as my spine is crushed at the T6, which is where the nerves for the diaphragm are. I will suffocate. Now, it is possible he was trying to scare me. Well, it worked. I am scared.

This whole year has honestly sucked. Next year will be better.
