Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I just got hired at another janitorial company for an even more limited part time role than the last job I had. I will be cleaning a dental office on Sat and Sun for 2 hours a day and a different company on Monday for 5 hours a day. I can definitely handle this as I will have four days off to recover. I just hope they don't pressure me to do more work after seeing I do a good job. I didn't tell this employer about my medical issues as I do not want to scare them off. But if they ask me to go full time, I will have to tell them why I can't. They are a smaller company. I met the owner and he shook my hand. He confirmed my suspicians about the other company I worked for. You need at least 10-12 hours for 1 person to clean a 4700 square foot building, not 4 hours. I will be cleaning smaller spaces. I can easily handle a dentist office. That is barely the size on one small area I used to clean in the old building. I actually prefer this job. I will be working alone without a partner, and there will be no one in the building at night. Just me all alone. Perfect for social anxiety disorder.
I did have an uptick in my medical issues though from running around today. My BP was still surging 135/100 when standing, even with all of my meds and then back down to 114/71 when sitting. What do you do with that? If I medicate more, then the sitting BP will be very low. So, for 10 hours a week, the BP will stay high, just make sure it does not hit stroke level. On a positive note, I passed a cheek swab drug instant drug test even whole on Norco. I tested negative for Opioids lol. I was worried I'd have to provide a script and explain things to them. Nope. All good for now. I would rather work 9 hours a week than to go and get state money for general relief. I figure it is good to at least get some exercise, but I know I can't handle a 5 day a week job of any type. Hopefully I don't die on some dental office in the middle of the night lol. Be a good topic of conversation for the dentist and their patients.
