and even if you could get something and then just have the short acting if needed for breakthrough, make an appt just to talk about it and ask if you dont get any releif to go back to what you have now

i have liquid morphine which i use for my long release i cant have that up to 4 times but take once in morning and one at night.
i do find that the long release meds help when i want to do something like shopping once a week. the only way you can really find out hun is to see yr dr and ask him.
