Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I remember the utter frustration of dealing with SSI and all the panicked moments. So I feel for you. Once you are firmly in the system things do seem to get a bit easyier. I do get reviews now and again but they seem like just a formality. So hang in there, jump through their hoops until you get to the other side.
As for the pain, you are in a huge club there we all understand! And we are holding you up in our thoughts and prayers. I too spent a year in bed in my 30's during the period I was getting a DX. It was miserable and I came close to ending my life. Glad I didn't I would have missed alot of living that I have enjoyed since. Our pain is not fun, but it is not who we are! I have to remind myself of that everyday. I am more than my pain and my pain is not the focus of my life.
Hang in there my friend and know that we are right beside you! Hugs, Cathy
