Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I just checked on my TENS there is nothing about over use. In fact it states you can use as often as needed. you must have a different kind. good luck hope it works for you. Isabee
You probably should call your Dr. and check....I've been using a TENS for years and years and years and I use mine on and off throughout the day several times a day, I just use it in 30 min sessions.
Take care,
Kat
As for being inconspicuous I quit worrying about that a long time ago, I've got so many scars and braces and crutches and canes and such...it makes no since. I've had 2 kids in the grocery store (at different times) ask me if I have a "bionic leg" when my wires are running from the pack under my tshirt on my belt to my knee under my braces. LOL I just laugh and tell them, "Nope, broken parts."

I too have been using mine for almost ten Yrs. I use it on my back. I keep extra batteries so if you do use it a lot during the day you don't have to worry about the battery going dead.
I, like Kat use it without time constraints. I was never given one. Like she said my skin will itch sometimes if I have it on too long or on too high. I also just hook it on my jeans and don't worry about the wires. Once you get used to it you'll find your own way of doing things. I'm glad it seems to be giving you some relief. Hope you get a good nights sleep with little to no pain.
Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
